Zaccheus

Zaccheus was a wee little man; a wee little man was he
He climbed up in a sycamore tree for the lord he wanted to see
And there’s the savior passed that way he looked in a tree.
And he said, “Zaccheus, you come down for I am going to your house today.”
Zaccheus knew that he’d done wrong and sorry for sins was he.
“Lord, to the poor I give one half and all my good,” said he,
“and if I cheated anyone, four times will I repay.”
And Jesus said, “Salvation has come to you. I’ve come to seek and save.”
Zaccheus was a wee little man but a happy man was he
For he has seen the Lord that day and a happy man was he!
And a very happy man was he.
